4 Reasons Why 10 Weeks of Summer is the Best

At Mason Music, summer music lessons are the most fun! From playing hallway hopscotch to giving out prizes, we make learning music an exciting and enjoyable experience every week. Not only will you be improving your musical skills, but you’ll also have a blast doing it! Read on for four reasons why 10 Weeks of Summer is the best!

1. WE DECORATE THE STUDIO TOGETHER

Our studios get a makeover this time of year! Take part in the fun and help us decorate by designing your own kite in the lobby. Materials will be on the lobby tables for you to use – just make sure to write your name on your kite so you can find it when 10 Weeks of Summer starts (and take it home at the end)!

2. YOU WIN PRIZES

Every week when you come to the studio for your music lesson, you will get a ticket from the front desk to enter our raffle to win amazing prizes! Each week you attend your lessons is an additional chance to win. Ca-ching!

3. WE MAKE A SUMMER SOUNDTRACK PLAYLIST

We’re making the ultimate summer soundtrack together. Our playlist will start with zero songs, but, by the end of the summer, it’ll be full of our community’s favorites! You’ll find a jukebox piggy bank in your studio during 10 Weeks of Summer. Then, you’ll write down your favorite songs, add them to the jukebox, and they’ll magically appear on the playlist. Listen each week for a growing collection of summer jams.

4. YOU ROCK THE SUMMER ROCK-A-THON

Our Rock Record Challenge gets a summer refresh: Summer Rock-a-thon. Any student who practices 1000 minutes between June and July – that’s practicing for 25 minutes five days of each week – will win a prize, earn bragging rights, and be inducted into the exclusive Summer Rock-a-thon club. There’s no better time to dig into your hobbies quite like the longer days of summer while school’s out!
