Meet the Mason Music Team
Will Mason
Owner/CEO
Will began playing music at 6 when his grandmother bought him a keyboard and his parents signed him up for piano lessons. This would be the beginning of a decades long love of music that would include touring in a band (Moses Mayfield), working as a worship leader for 9 years, playing hundreds of gigs, and producing music that would be featured in TV and film in his own recording studio. All of these experiences can be traced back to that 76-key Casio in 1989. (He even has the tattoo to prove it!)
These experiences were the inspirational fuel for Will to begin teaching his first students in 2007. This group of students would grow to form what is now Mason Music.
Will is married to Mallory Mason (owner of Daughters Baking) and enjoys training for triathlons and marathons, working in his yard, and raising two amazing children, Alice and Liam.

Meet Chase, your Cahaba Heights studio manager. Prior to joining Mason Music, Chase graduated from Highlands College with a degree in Worship Ministry. Chase brings with him several years experience developing musicians and serving on worship teams across the South. Chase continues to play guitar at a local church.
Haley Skipper
Mountain Brook Studio Manager
Meet Haley, your Mountain Brook studio manager. Haley attended the Boston Conservatory and graduated with her B.F.A from the University of Montevallo. A seasoned vocal teacher and performer, Haley has worked with many schools and theatre companies in Birmingham and Atlanta. In her free time, Haley loves to perform, write music, and spend time with her family.
Anthony Morris
Bluff Park Studio Manager
Meet Anthony, your Bluff Park studio manager. While his academic background is in design, Anthony knew from a young age that music – piano – was his true passion. Prior to joining the management team, Anthony was a seasoned Mason Music piano instructor. Fun fact: Anthony has two decades worth of professional and church performance experience.

Greystone Studio Manager
Meet Ellie, your Greystone studio manager. Ellie graduated with her bachelors in Human Biology, but she’s always loved music most. From viola to clarinet to guitar, drums, and voice, Ellie is a musical jack-of-all-trades. A college recreation job showed Ellie that her passion lies with building community, which she lives out as a Mason Music studio manager.
Serena Ryan
Woodlawn Studio Manager
Meet Serena, your Woodlawn studio manager. A passionate multi-instrumentalist from a young age, Serena started writing for and performing in local bands at 16 and has not stopped since. Serena brings her tried-and-true leadership skills to her role at Mason Music after managing retail teams. Did you know? Serena plays guitar, bass, piano, and sings.
