Winter 2026 Recital
Our Winter 2026 Recital will be held Dec 4-6 and Dec 12-13 at Woodlawn Theatre (5503 1st Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35212) for Birmingham students , Dec 5th at Crosspointe Church (78 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL 35758) for Madison students, and Dec 5th at (416 Mary Lindsay Polk Dr Ste 501, Franklin, TN 37067) for Brentwood students.
Mason Music recitals run in short blocks, featuring a mix of instruments and ages. That means you show up for the time that fits your family’s schedule, cheer on your student, and head out to celebrate.
Performers don’t need to dress up unless they want to. The atmosphere is relaxed, but every performer still gets the respect and attention they deserve. A small recital fee covers the cost of the venue and staff, so our students get a full performance experience.

A recital is a single day. What your child gets out of it lasts a lot longer.
- Confidence that carries over. Watching your child walk on stage nervous and walk off beaming never gets old. That moment doesn’t stay on the stage. It sticks with them, in how they handle a hard test, a tryout, or a first day somewhere new.
- A goal worth working for. Kids practice differently when they’re working toward something real, especially a real stage and a real crowd. Recitals give your child a concrete reason to stick with it. You’ll likely notice extra motivation to practice in the weeks leading up to it, even without having to ask.
- A community of fellow musicians. Some students are just starting out. Others have been at it for years. Watching both shows your child that progress is a process, not a talent you either have or don’t. Kids often leave a recital already asking their teacher what they want to learn next.
- A memory for your family. The nerves. The practice. The moment they nail the ending. Even the mistakes and recoveries that are a part of every musician’s journey. These are the moments you’ll be glad you were there for. Many of our families tell us their recital photos and videos become some of their favorites to look back on.
