Is Sky Studios now Mason Music Brentwood?
Yes! Sky Studios has officially become Mason Music Brentwood. We’re excited to continue serving Brentwood students and families as part of the Mason Music community while carrying forward the same heart for excellent music education and meaningful relationships.

Why did Sky Studios become Mason Music Brentwood?
When Schylar, Sky Studios’s former owner, began thinking about his next chapter, he reached out to our team at Mason Music. After many conversations, it became clear that we shared the same values, priorities, and commitment to serving students and families well. As a result, Mason Music officially acquired Sky Studios in December 2025 and the studio is now Mason Music Brentwood as of April 2026.
This transition allows Schylar to focus more fully on his passion and expertise in recording and production – including as a part of our team as our Director of Recording – while the Mason Music team supports the operational side of the business and continues building on the incredible foundation Sky Studios created. We’re excited to carry that legacy forward while bringing additional resources, support, and opportunities to students and families in the Brentwood community.

Will my teacher/lessons stay the same?
Great news: all of the Sky Studios teachers have continued teaching at Mason Music Brentwood! One of our biggest priorities during this transition is maintaining continuity and preserving the supportive relationships students and families already know and trust.
Students can continue expecting a high-quality, encouraging lesson experience focused on individual growth, creativity, and consistency. While some systems and branding may evolve over time, our commitment to students and families remains the same.

Is the Brentwood location changing?
Mason Music Brentwood will continue serving students in the Brentwood community in the same space as the former Sky Studios location. Our address is 330 Franklin Rd, Suite 276B, Brentwood, TN.

Absolutely! We’re excited to continue welcoming new students to Mason Music Brentwood and helping more families experience the joy of music lessons.
