Birmingham has long been a home to many talented musicians and music lovers, and as the world gathers again to experience live music, it’s time for a new musical tradition to be born in our city. Mason Music is celebrating 10 years of inspiring and teaching students to be passionate about playing music by bringing our community together for the first one-day, family-friendly, music festival on Saturday, August 13, at Avondale Brewing Company. Mason Music Fest 2022 is going to be your favorite thing to do in Birmingham this summer!
We do everything a little differently at Mason Music, so just like our music lessons, this festival will be anything but ordinary. The lineup is full of Birmingham natives plus all the grooves and good sounds you are dying to hear live including The Brook & The Bluff, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, Gatlin, Lady Legs, Shaheed and DJ Supreme, and Jahnah Camille, plus some amazing Rock Band League student super stars! There will be plenty of things to do as you shop and savor all that our incredible vendors have to offer. Take a photo at Trailer Park Photos quirky photo booth, grab a vegan corn-on-the-cob from Aww Shucks, and even learn about Hip Hop from Shaheed and DJ Supreme!
While this music festival is sure to be the most fun you’ve had in a long time, for us, it’s all about the why; 100% of the proceeds will go to benefit the Mason Music Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to changing lives by providing scholarships for music lessons to families who qualify for financial assistance. Many of our families and students would never have access to music lessons without your help, and there is no easier way to support our musical community than by attending Mason Music Fest 2022!
